My background
From elite sport to media and communication.
As a former Olympian, I bring together experience in sport, communication and media to support your projects.

01 — Elite sport, from the inside
My first education: the sport itself
Before working in sport, I lived it every day.
For several years, I competed with the Belgian national biathlon team, going on to take part in the Beijing 2022 Olympic Games.
Training, international competitions, travel, partners, media and the pressure to perform: this experience gave me a practical understanding of the environment athletes and the organisations supporting them work in.
It still shapes the way I work: understand the demands on the ground, focus on what matters and tell the story of performance without distorting it.

02 — Building a sport's communication
Belgium Biathlon
After my sporting career, I gradually became involved in communication for Belgium Biathlon.
The aim was to professionalise how the national team shared its activity: a more regular social media presence, content from competitions, live updates, press work and communication with partners and the public.
My work included writing and distributing press releases, creating digital content and liaising with the media.
This approach supported a significant increase in the team's media visibility and the development of an engaged community around Belgian biathlon.

03 — Understanding business and the mountain industry
Communication & marketing at MND
I then joined MND, a Savoie-based industrial group specialising in mountain infrastructure and mobility, as an employee in the communication and marketing team.
This experience broadened my perspective beyond sport and introduced me to an environment that was B2B, industrial and international, closely connected to the mountain industry.
I worked on digital, internal and external communication, content production, video, supplier coordination and event communication.
I helped prepare and cover several international trade shows, including Mountain Planet, Interalpin, Alpipro and PIARC.
These projects taught me to work with very different demands: commercial objectives, brand image, tight deadlines, multiple contributors and on-site content production.

04 — On the other side of the microphone
Eurosport & RTBF
After answering interviews as an athlete, I gradually moved to the other side of the microphone.
I now work as a biathlon consultant for Eurosport France, alongside a journalist.
My role is to bring a technical, expert perspective to the commentary: explaining athletes' decisions, analysing performances and giving viewers the context to understand what is happening in the race.
During the 2026 Winter Olympic Games, I also commentated on biathlon and cross-country skiing for RTBF.
The work was different: speaking to a much wider audience, sometimes unfamiliar with these disciplines, and making technical sports understandable without oversimplifying them.
These two experiences taught me something fundamental about communication: the same subject needs a different explanation depending on the audience.

05 — Bringing structure and sharing knowledge
Strategic communication & teaching
My practical experience is also supported by a Master's degree in strategic organisational communication from UCLouvain, a prestigious Belgian university.
Today, I share this approach atUCLouvain, teaching first-year Master's students in human movement sciences.
I teach the fundamentals of communication applied to sport: assessment, objectives, audiences, messages, actions, planning and evaluation.
The aim is not simply to learn how to post on social media, but to understand communication as a genuine strategic tool serving a project and an organisation.
